Domestic hot-water — Demand & Compliance (XA §6.1)
Calculates daily/annual hot-water energy, checks allowed technologies, ≤50% electric supplementary cap, editable Table 10 min storage for SWH/HP, and pipe insulation R checks (Table 11 – editable).
1) Project context
Auto-syncs with Basics.
Defaults are placeholders; adjust to spec.
2) Technology & supply split (XA §6.1)
XA note: electric supplementary ≤ 50% of annual average volume.
If measures are poor, EER may drop to 0.2. Improve storage/timer per XA note.

3) Demand & energy
Daily volume
—
Daily thermal (kWh)
—
Annual thermal (kWh)
—
Est. grid kWh (after EER)
—
4) Minimum storage (Table 10 — editable)
Provide the minimum tank storage for solar or heat pump systems per occupants. Defaults are placeholders — replace with the values you use for Table 10.
—
5) Pipe insulation (exposed) — XA §6.1.6–6.1.7
Enter proposed insulation. Requirement R-values are editable to match Table 11. Piping to be insulated includes hot supply/return, and cold water & PRV piping within 1 m of connections.
| Run | Location | Length (m) | Thickness (mm) | k (W/m·K) | R-proposed | R-min (Table 11) | Status |

Pipes R (Table 11): —
Technology allowed (XA Note 1): —
EER advisory (≥0.5 desirable): —
Boost EER by larger storage/timers per XA Note 4.
